Monaghan have named their team for tomorrow evening’s Ulster senior semi-final meeting with Derry in O'Neill's Healy Park in Omagh.
Dessie Ward who appeared as a substitute in the victory over Tyrone has been named at centre-half-back, having appeared to have recovered from a shoulder injury. Rory Beggan is in goals with a full-back line of Thomas McPhillips, Kieran Duffy and Ryan Wylie. Conor Boyle, Dessie Ward and Ryan O' Toole in the half-back line.
Darren Hughes who was replaced in the quarter-final win is named at midfield alongside Killian Lavelle. Stephen O'Hanlon, Michael Bannigan and Conor McCarthy in the half-forward line.
Jack McCarron, Karl Gallagher and Conor McManus complete the starting 15.
There had been some speculation, whether Ryan McAnespie, having returned from Australia would be named in the match day panel. While not part of the 26, McAnespie could still be drafted in as a late replacement.
Elsewhere; Derry are also showing a clean bill of health as they look to continue their defence of the Ulster title. Odhran Lynch is named in goal with Chrissy McKaigue, Eoin McEvoy and Conor McCluskey in the full-back line.
Conor Doherty, Gareth McKinless and Padraig M Grogan are across the half-back line with Conor Glass and Brendan Rogers at the centre of the field.
Padraig Cassidy, Paul Cassidy and Ethan Doherty are in the half-forward line with Niall Toner, Shane McGuigan and Niall Loughlin completeing their starting 15.
