Monaghan will discover their All-Ireland quarter-final opponents on Monday morning, but it will not be Kerry.
Monaghan will be in pot one with the other three All-Ireland group stage winners, Armagh, Tyrone and Meath.
Whereas, pot two includes the four preliminary quarter-final winners; Kerry, Dublin, Galway and Donegal. Repeat provincial final pairings are ruled-out meaning Armagh cannot play Donegal.
Also ruled out is a repeat of a group stage game, ruling out Armagh v Dublin and Armagh v Galway. Also ruled out is Meath v Kerry.
As such Armagh will play Kerry in the quarter-final. The remaining three teams in pot one can draw any of the remaining teams in pot two.
The quarter-finals are set for Croke Park on Saturday and Sunday June 28th and 29th.
