Monaghan fell at the semi-final hurdler going down to Kerry in the Lidl ladies national league division two semi-final.
Kerry got the better of Monaghan on a 1-14 to 1-11 score-line at Tuam Stadium.
The Kingdom will now face Armagh in the final. Armagh were the first to book their place in the division two final, thanks to a comprehensive 7-18 to 1-9 win against Laois.
