Saturday will see a double header of action for Monaghan teams in O’Connor Park Tullamore as the minors and the seniors both take to the field.
The Seniors face Kildare in the preliminary quarter-final of the senior championship at 4:45. Before that at 2:30 the minors take on Kerry in the All-Ireland semi-final.
Sean Mc Caffrey caught up with former ladies senior football manager Kieran Kearns ahead of those fixtures. Mc Caffrey noted firstly that Dermot Malones side had been impressive so far in this year’s championship.
