Monaghan will face Donegal in the Bank of Ireland Dr Mc Kenna cup final on Saturday evening. That was after both sides registered wins in their semi finals over Tyrone and Derry last night.
The Farney side were 1-15 to 2-10 winners over Tyrone with Michael Bannigan contributing 1-06 in another man of the match performance. Speaking after the final whistle manager Gabriel Bannigan noted his delight at the character shown by his side who came from behind twice to get the win
That final is set for Healy Park in Omagh on Saturday evening with a 5pm throw in.
