Monaghan get their Ulster intermediate championship campaign underway this Sunday at 2pm when they face Tyrone in Smithboro.
The Farney side secured their place in Lidl ladies league division two with a final day victory over Laois last month. Speaking to Sean McCaffrey, captain Maeve Monaghan noted that the victory was a massive confidence boost to the team.
