Monaghan ladies picked up their first points of the Lidl Ladies league with a 1-12 to 1-06 victory in St. Tiernachs Park Clones on Sunday over Westmeath.
Manager Enda Flanagan was happy to picked up their first points of the campaign after losses to Tyrone and Donegal.
Flanagan was in particular happy with how his side stuck to their game plan of targetting the re-starts from Westmeath
Next up for Monaghan is trip to Tipp to take on the premier county who have lost to Mayo and Cavan but did pick up a win over Wexford in the opening round.
