Monaghan have announced their team to face Tyrone in this weekends must win Division 1 North Allianz league encounter. There is one change to the side that face Donegal with Conor Mc Manus set to make his first start in place of Andrew Woods. The team in full is Rory Beggan in Goals with Kieran Duffy, Conor Boyle and Ryan Wylie in the full back line Karl Mc Menamin who made his senior debut last weekend retains his centre back position with Karl O'Connell and Ryan Mc Anespie either side of him. Darren Hughes and Killian Lavelle are the midfield partnership with Stephen O'Hanlon, Aaron Mulligan and Michael Bannigan in the half forward line. Conor Mc Carthy, Conor Mc Manus and Sean Jones complete the starting 15.

A win for Monaghan coupled with a victory for Donegal over Armagh would see both sides retain their Division 1 status and contest a league semi final spot. A loss would mean a relegation play off with the bottom 2 sides from Division 1 South. Roscommon are already in that play off, with it been likely that Galway will join them as they face Dublin on Sunday in the final group game. Sean Mc Caffrey spoke to interim Monaghan manager David Mc Cague, noting first the introduction of a number of new faces to the senior panel
