Carrickmacross have two wins from as many games in this year’s Greenfield foods Monaghan Senior Football Championship following a 3-7 to 0-8 victory over Magheracloone in group 1 today.
Defending champions Scotstown also continued their impressive form with a 2-9 to 0-8 win over Truagh.
Elsewhere in group 2, Ballybay sustained their perfect record with a 2-13 to 2-12 win over Monaghan Harps today.

Latton O’Rahilly’s also enjoyed the same fate and were too strong for Castleblayney Faughs winning 2-18 to 0-12 on Saturday night.
