Cavan, Monaghan and Leitrim hurlers all suffered defeats in their opening games of 2024.
In the Conor McGurk competition in Ulster, Cavan went down to Fermanagh by 13 points to 4-18. Whereas, Monaghan were defeated by Louth 2-23 to 10 points.
In the FBD league, Leitrim suffered a heavy defeat to New York. The visitors winning out 4-26 to 1-14 at the Connacht GAA Air dome.

The state-siders will now face Galway in the last four tomorrow evening while the first of the semi-finals throws in tonight as Roscommon take on Mayo at 7pm.
