The opening weekend of the provincial championships produced very little surprises, as the majority of those expected to win coming through unfazed.
New York and London's inclusion in Connacht has come under some scrutiny following their heavy losses to Galway and Roscommon respectively.
The Tribesmen had 17 points to spare in Gaelic Park while the Rossies were 19 points better in Ruslip. However, Roscommon manager Davy Burke believes the exiles are worthy of their place in the championship.
Roscommon will now face Galway in the provincial semi-final with Mayo and Leitrim on the other side of the draw.
The quarter-final pairings in Ulster will see Monaghan host Donegal on April 20th in St. Tiernachs Park. Whereas, this coming Sunday is the first of the last eight encounters as Cavan face Tyrone in O’Neills Healy Park, Omagh.
Saturday the 19th will see Antrim and Armagh meet in Corrigan Park, Belfast while Brewster Park is the setting for Fermanagh and Down.
In Leinster, the quarter-finals all throw-in this coming weekend with Offaly up against Meath, Dublin facing Wicklow; Kildare taking on Westmeath and Louth meeting Laois.
The Munster championship is down to the last four; with Clare set to face Limerick while Cork will take on Kerry. Both those games are scheduled for Saturday the 19th of April
