The Novice pairing of Sean Marron and Aidan Sherry came out on top in the Monaghan Motor club night navigation trial on Saturday night. They finished on 7 penalties with the expert crews of Ciaran and Michael Tynan along with Oisin Sherlock/Darragh Kelly, Ryan Treanor/Shane Dalton completing the top 4 on 10 penalties. An excellent 6th overall for Marco Lennon and Elijah Dixon seen them taking the beginners class with Ryan Farrell and Ray O'Neill topping the Novice class. Christopher Mc Mahon and Damian Treanor were the best of the semi expert class.
At the Endurance trial championship in Birr, Robert Howard and Claire Murtagh were the overall winners with Emmet Sherry and Alicia Knox 2nd in the classification. Andrew Wedlock and Ciaran Maguire completed the top 3.
