Cavan will be looking to extend their championship campaign on Sunday evening when they face Tyrone in Brewster Park Enniskillen at 4pm. Along with Donegal and Mayo, they all sit on 2 points with the 4 sides in with a chance of making the knock out stages. A win or draw for the Breffni side will guarantee their progression however should they lose and Mayo suffer a defeat to Donegal, then they would go through on the head to head rule. Should both games end in draws, Cavan would lose out on score difference. It is the 2nd time the sides will have met in the championship as the Red Hand county were winners in their Ulster quarter final meeting. Manager Raymond Galligan knows their is still the potential for big championship outings
