Paddy Tally has stepped down as Derry football manager after just one season in charge.
The Oak League County failed to win a game in 2025 and were relegated to Division Two of the League.
Whereas, Derry county board chairperson John Keenan; thanked Tally for giving his 'time and dedication' to the role and says a successor will be announced in due course.
Tally is the second intercounty manager to step down this week with Raymond Galligan leaving the Cavan role on Monday.
With a number of counties looking for management teams, a high profile name may not be readily available and the Breffni county have had a tendency to choose from within.
Indeed, Cavan GAA commentator Damien Donohoe noted, their could be a number of possible candidates in the county.
