The 2 sides meet in the Ulster quarter final at Kingspan Breffni

Cavan and Armagh will meet this Saturday evening in the 3rd of Quarter final of the Ulster championship in Kingspan Breffni. The Breffni side have their first outing since claiming the Division 3 league title with a win over Fermanagh having lost to the same opposition in the last round of games as well as to Antrim in Round 6. The Saffron county were in preliminary round action against Armagh where they lost out in the Athletic grounds, giving Kieran Mc Geeney’s side a much needed victory after their demotion from Division 1 following a final day loss to Tyrone.  Sean Mc Caffrey spoke to our regular GAA correspondent Damien Donohoe and noted to him that there is enough sub plots to this fixture to fill a book

A large crowd is expected at the fixture with an Garda Siochana putting a traffic plan in place
