Monaghan and Cavan are through to the last 4 of the provincial championship

The Ulster Senior football championship is down to the last 4 with the possibility of a Northern Sound derby in the final with Monaghan and Cavan on opposite sides of the draw. Monaghan will face Derry in the 2nd of the semi finals on Sunday the 15th of May in the Athletic Grounds Armagh. Farney manager Seamus Mc Enaney was pleased with his sides performance in Clones at the weekend when they accounted for Down and noted the competition there is between players to make a starting day panel

The first of the semi finals throws in this Sunday at 4pm in ST Tiarnachs Park Clones as Cavan take on Donegal. That game will be preceded by the meeting of the same counties in the Ladies senior provincial semi final with Armagh awaiting the winners after they overcame Monaghan at the weekend.
