Referees confirmed for league finals

Cavan and Monaghan turn attentions to Ulster championship

The referees have been appointed for this year's National Football League finals. David Gough will officiate the Division One final between Kerry and Donegal. Brendan Griffin will referee the Division Two decider as Meath take on Cork. Thomas Murphy will be in charge of the Division three final between Down and Wexford. Kevin Faloon will referee the Division four title match between Longford and Carlow.

Monaghan and Cavan seen their league campaigns conclude with defeats to Donegal and Derry respectively and they will be now turning their attention to their Ulster championship meeting on Sunday the 19th of April. Dermott Mc Cabes side retained their division 2 status for 2027 having registered wins over Offaly and Kildare. Like a number of teams they have also been dealing with injuries to key players and coach Diarmuid Scullion noted they will be hoping to have those available to them over the coming weeks
