Round 2 of the Allinaz National football league throws in this weekend.  For the teams of the Northern Sound region, Cavan have home advantage on Sunday in their Division 4 encounter when they welcome Wexford to Kingspan Breffni at 2pm.Michael Grahams side enter that game as strong favourites as they look to make it 2 wins from 2 outings. Wexford suffered a loss to Sligo in round 1. We will have Coverage of that game on Sunday sport with thanks to Erne Motor Works Dublin road Cavan. Other fixtures in that division will see Leitrim away to Tipperary, Sligo welcoming Carlow and Waterford away to London.

In Division 1 Mayo make the trip to St Tiernachs Park Clones to take on Monaghan. Both teams drew their opening games with Donegal and Tyrone respectively. Mayo will be planning with out Tommy Conroy who looks set to miss the reminder of the year after picking up a cruciate knee injury when playing for NUI Galway in the Sigerson Cup. Seamus Mc Enaney should have a full panel to pick from with no major injury concerns been reported. We will have live coverage of that game on Sunday sport with thanks to Eurotech Renewables in Castleblayney. Elsewhere in Division 1 Dublin who are currently propping up the league table are away to Kerry, while Armagh who were the only team to claim a win in round 1 welcome the All Ireland champions Tyrone to the Athletic grounds. Donegal and Kildare are set to meet in Ballybofey.

Last weekend seen the GAA drop the water breaks from the match day schedule. While introduced to allow players to get their own water during a game they had quickly become an opportunity for teams to conduct tactical meetings. Donegal's Ryan Mc Hugh noted that while the removal of the water break would not be a major issue, the chance to now get information onto the field of play had been taken away
