His three goals proved decisive as Jerome Johnston’s men won 3-10 to ten points away to Latton O’Rahillys in group two on Saturday.
Elsewhere, Clontibret picked up their second win of the campaign beating Castleblayney 3-12 to 2-14 at Saint Mary’s Park On Saturday.
Clontibret were six points up at half-time and emerged victorious after holding off a second half comeback from Castleblayney.
Meanwhile, in group one, Scotstown have three wins from as many games following a 13 points to nine victory over Carrickmacross at Pairc Mhuire on Saturday.
The other group fixture finished level as Truagh and Iniskeen drew 2-10 to 1-13 at Saint Mellans Park.
