Fermanagh champions have too much for Scotstown

Scotstown bowed out of the Ulster ladies intermediate football club championship after a 10 point defeat to Fermanagh’s Kinawley.

The Fermanagh side winning out 3-12 to 1-8. Megan Boylan got Scotstown’s goal in their opening score after 12 minutes. Scotstown leading 1-0 to 0-2.

Two points from Laura Carey and one from Amy McGuirk saw Scotstown trail 1-3 to 2-4 at half-time.

The Fermanagh side had more firepower in the second-half. Celine Nally (2), Hannah Sherlock, Casey Treanor, Laura Carey (2) weren’t enough for the Monaghan side.

Kinawley found 1-8 in the second-half to win out 3-12 to 1-8.
