Scotstown will face Kilcoo in the Ulster club final this Saturday evening in the Box-It Athletic grounds making it a 4th final appearance in the past 10 years for the Monaghan champions as they look to add to their success from 1989, and the 3 titles in 1978, 79 and 80. It took extra time in the Semi-final to see of Newbridge of Derry and captain Damien Mc Ardle remarked to Fergal Monaghan at the media evening that while there was need for recovery after that game, it was made easier with the victory
