Leona Maguire is well in contention on the season opener of the LPGA Tour. An opening 71 in Florida seen the Cavan Golfer sign for a 1 under par and 4 shots of the lead held by Canadian Brooke Henderson who is on 5 under. Birdies on the 5th and 11th holes seen Leona go to 2 under before that good work was undone with bogeys on the 14th and 16th with a birdie on the 18th ensuring a place inside the top 10. Leona tees off her 2nd round at 12:40pm (Irish time)
