An even par opening nine was a steady start from Leona with birdies on the 10th and 11th seeing her on 2 under before a bogey on the 14th was cancelled by a further birdie on the 18th to close out with a round of 70. A top 6 finish would keep alive hopes of winning the rookie of the year on the LPGA Tour.
