Leona Maguire is six strokes off the pace after round one of the Founders Cup on the LPGA Tour in New Jersey. The Cavan native carded a 3 under par round of 69 as she found her form again after missing the cut in the last 2 tournaments. It was an eventful opening 9 for Leona as she bogeyed the 2nd eagled the 3rd, bogeyed the 4th and birdied the fifth before adding further birdies on the 8th and 9th to take the turn on 3 under and maintained that with an even par back 9.
