Three goals Kingscourt see off Ballyhaise

Kingscourt stars made it two wins from two  with a 3-13 to 1-10 win over Ballyhaise in Mullagh this evening in the Cavan Senior Football Championship.

A twelve minute spell in the second half where Kingscourt scored 1-5 in a row helped them on their way to victory.

The goals came from Kevin Curtis, Padraig Faulkner and substitute Jordan Morris. Notably Cian Sheckleton kicked six points.

County Star Killian Brady got the goal for Ballyhaise.

Kingscourt led 2-06 to 1-05 at halftime. Ballyhaise started the second half strongly and cut the deficit to one point in the opening four minutes of the half.

Kingscourt regained control of the game and marched onto a nine point victory.
