Top ten finish for Irish pairing at World Triathlon para championships

Para Athlete Donnacha Mc Carthy along with his Guide Sean Husband who hails from Monaghan have taken 8^th place at the World Triathlon Para championships in Abu Dubai. Competing in soaring heat, the Irish pairing took on the tough conditions over a sprint distance course by making up 5 places after the opening swim and put in a strong bike and running performance to finish well inside the top 10.

The lads spoke after the race
