Ulster U20 championship reverts to a round robin series

It will take place over March and April

Details of this year’s U20 Ulster football championship have been confirmed.

The competition will be played during the months of March and April with a round- robin series been introduced. Section A: Monaghan, Tyrone, Down, Derry and Antrim. Section B: Cavan, Armagh, Donegal and Fermanagh.

All teams will play each other within their groups with the top teams going through to the semi-finals while the second and third placed teams will meet in the quarter-final.

Teams that finish below that in the groups will enter a tier two competition.

The first of the games throw-in on Saturday March ninth. Monaghan having a bye in round one while Cavan welcome Donegal to Kingspan Breffni.
