St Louis students Monaghan launch new CD. St. Louis Convent in Monaghan Town has launched a new CD. Moreover, the CD showcases the outstanding talents of past and present music students. This project began as a way to honour the resilience and dedication of young musicians, many of whom missed out on opportunities to perform and shine during the Covid-19 pandemic. The school wanted to create a lasting legacy for them, and now, it’s here for locals to experience.
Each track on this CD celebrates the incredible creativity and spirit of our school community. Jodie Curran went along to St Louis Convent and spoke with music teacher Jackie Cassidy along with students who were involved in the project:
