Breege Loughnane (Nee Johnston) died on Sunday August 6th 2023, peacefully at the Mater Hospital, Dublin, following a long illness bravely borne.

Predeceased by her infant son William, granddaughter Sharon, parents; Dominic and Rose, brother Tom and sisters; Maureen and Rose.

Breege will be very sadly missed by her heart broken family,  her beloved husband and best friend Billy, sons; Mark and David, daughters; Rachel and Charlotte, daughters in law; Carol and Kathleen, sons in law; David and Michael, her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers; Dominic and Paul, sisters; Philomena, Barbara and Jacqueline, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all her extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan on Wednesday evening from 5pm and will conclude with prayers at 7pm. Removal from her home in Fairview on Thursday morning at 11.20am, travelling on foot to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim, Cavan for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.
