A 23-year-old man will appear before Cavan District Court this morning in relation to a "considerable" drugs seizure.
Lukas Kvietkus, of Dumcalpin, Co Cavan, was remanded in custody to Castlerea Prison and will appear before the District Court via video link.
It follows the discovery of over €97,000 worth of cannabis from a premises on the outskirts of Cavan Town shortly after 9pm on Monday.

120 cannabis plants and heaters, lights and extractor fans were also seized as part of Operation Tara, which targets street dealing in towns and cities.
During proceedings yesterday, no application was made for bail but Gardai indicated to Judge Alan Mitchell that they would oppose such an application due to the "considerable" nature of the seizure.
