Margaret Urwin from the 'Justice for the Forgotten' campaign group has expressed her disappointment at An Garda Síochána when it comes to providing important information over the Dublin-Monaghan bombings.
The campaign group is currently waiting on the 'Denton' report to be published, which is an analytical review of all connected murders on both sides of the border in the 70s.
This report was due to be published before the 50th anniversary, however that has yet to happen. Margaret also highlighted the report from the Police Ombudsman investigation.
She told Northern Sound that "unfortunately" Gardai have not been cooperative regarding material on the Dublin-Monaghan bombings.
Margaret said the group along with family members were "astonished" by the lack of response and immediately wrote to the Garda Commissioner and the Minister for Justice to which they received "very unsatisfactory answers." As a result, a judicial review was taken against the Garda Commissioner and the Justice Minister which began last October.
Margaret says since the judicial review, at least two tranches of documents have been made been available to the Police Ombudsman by the Garda Commissioner, however these documents were given in "small amounts"
