The 2025 Grow with ALDI finalists have been announced following a nationwide search for Ireland's most talented and innovative suppliers in the food and drink industry.
30 ambitious suppliers from across Ireland have earned their spot to showcase their products in 164 ALDI stores nationwide.
Barry John Sausages, a local Cavan business is among this year's 30 finalists.
The business will have their products go on sale in all ALDI stores nationwide for a two-week period starting September 11th, offering customers across the island of Ireland a chance to enjoy the taste of Cavan.
Based in Lurganboy, Co Cavan, Barry John Sausages specialises in producing artisanal sausages using Bord Bia Certified pork.
Barry Crowe is a 2nd generation artisan butcher who from an early age realised that there was a market for Flavoured Gourmet Sausages with a difference.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Barry described this as a "massive success" story for the local business regardless of the overall outcome.
Barry says to even get this far and to have secured a nation wide listing with ADLI for two weeks is a "proud moment" for everyone involved.
Delivered in partnership with Bord Bia, Grow with ALDI is now in its eighth year and is a leading developmental platform for Irish suppliers.
