Cavan Women's Shed had a hugely successful shoebox appeal this year.
It had 85 boxes filled with "love and beautiful gifts" collected and taken to the checking centre in Cootehill.
They travel from there to Eastern Europe and Africa and the kindness and generosity will bring joy and hope to many children and families.

The group emphasised that were it not for the generosity of everyone who supported, the children would not have received any gifts.
In addition there were monetary donations and numerous bags filled with "thoughtful" gifts.
