The Royal School, Cavan has been awarded over €10m in funding to extend its facilities. The massive funding will allow the Royal to accommodate 450 students in the future.
A statement from the Boards of Governors and Management says the funding from the Department of Education will be allocated to creating additional practical rooms, teaching classrooms and student social areas.
"As the school continues to grow," the statement continues, "the modern well-equipped facilities will play a crucial role in nurturing the talents and aspirations of each student".
