A recruitment drive is underway in Carrickmacross and Castleblayney for the position of retained firefighters.
Recruitment open nights are taking place on Monday the 24th of March in Carrickmacross, and Monday 31st March in Castleblayney. The planned recruitment evenings run from 7.30pm to 9pm and offers an opportuinty to see what the role entails.
Some of the fire fighters will be on hand on the open nights to describe their roles and give an insight into some of the things they do in their line of work.
