Gardaí in Castleblayney are continuing to investigate a hit and run incident which caused material damage to a vehicle. The hit and run took place on Saturday the 2nd of September between 3:45pm and 4pm. According to local Gardaí, it occurred in the large car park off the McGrath Road in the town a short distance from the zebra crossing.
A grey jeep reversed into the front of a parked Mercedes car and after doing so the driver got out to check and then drove off. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or who may have any information to contact Gardaí in Castleblayney on 042 9747900.
