A Cavan Councillor has called for public lighting to be erected at what he has described as a very dark spot.
This issue was raised at the recent meeting of the Bailieborough-Cootehill Municipal District.
Niall Smith raised a call for public lighting from the cross where the R191 meets the R165 down to St Felim's National school and Bailieborough Soccer Club.
Cllr Smith said it's a very dark spot in the evening, with a post office and a shop beside it.
He said it's really an issue due to the fact the local link stops there.
Speaking to Northern Sound Cllr Smith said people don't know where they are when they step off the bus.
