That's according to Minister Niamh Smyth who attended a Government Trade Forum meeting earlier this week.
The local representative said the ongoing situation in the Middle East was discussed at the meeting, and how best to support Irish businesses amid growing uncertainty.
After hearing from a broad range of stakeholders during the meeting, Minister Smyth said it’s clear that while there are real challenges ahead, there is also confidence in Ireland’s ability to navigate them.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Minister Smyth believes Ireland’s reputation as a stable, open and competitive economy is something we are committed to protecting.
