Owner of Cavan pet sanctuary hits out at those behind firework attack on their shelter

The owner of a Cavan pet sanctuary has hit out at those behind a firework attack on their shelter.

On Wedneday evening, a rocket-type firework was thrown at the Kitten Cottege Animal Sanctuary in Virginia.

Gardai are investigating the incident, with owner Andrew Egan saying it’s not the first time it’s happened to them.

No animals were physically injured by the firework, but speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound New, Andrew says it was very traumatic.
