The N87 has re-opened on the Ballyconnell side of Bawnboy following a road traffic collision this morning. Gardai and emergency services attended the scene of the crash which involved a car and a motorcycle near Monnery at approximately 8am.
Two people were taken to hospital with what Gardai are describing as non life threatening injuries. Diversions were in place but have since been lifted. Motorists using the route are being advised to exercise caution in the area today.
