People's lives are being put at risk due to lengthy waits on ambulance call outs across the country.
That's according to Sinn Fein TD for Cavan and Monaghan, Cathy Bennett.
The local TD was reacting to information released to Northern Sound under a freedom of information request. Deputy Bennett says seconds can be the difference of life and death.
The data released under a freedom of information request by Northern Sound covers incidents classified as “Purple” and “Red” calls for 2025.
Purple calls are considered the highest level of emergency. The information highlighted that one patient waited up to 7 hours for an ambulance in 2025.
Deputy Bennett joined Ronan Gargan to react to the details.
