A huge crowd of local farmers attended a meeting to discuss the ongoing IFA protest in Co. Cavan last night.
Farmers attended the meeting in solidarity with the "Bord Bia 5" who have been protesting inside Bord Bia buildings for almost a month.
Farming organisations, along with opposition TDs and several County Councils, are calling for Larry Murrin to step down from his role as Bord Bia chair.
Local farmers Richard Moran from Mountnugent, and Patrick McCormack from Monaghan are currently protesting inside of Bord Bia.
Owen Brodie, the IFA's Co. Cavan chair spoke at the meeting last night.
Maitiú Monaghan asked him about the meeting.
Co. Cavan farmer Breifne O'Brien is Agriland's beef specialist.
He also attended last night's meeting, and highlighted the amount of farmers who attended.
