A local LGBT+ group that operates across the North East is working to enhance the life of the LGBT+ community living locally.
Outcomers which is a social and befriending support group for gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender people has been operating since 1997.
The volunteer led organisation operates in Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Meath.
They operate a drop in centre which provides a safe, social and relaxed environment for the LGBT community and is located in the centre of Dundalk town.
The team is currently made up of a social inclusion officer, a youth worker, and an outreach worker.
They operate groups on a regular basis in Cavan, Monaghan, Castleblayney, Navan and Dundalk.
According to Bernardine Quinn from Outcomers, it's all about showing a visibility in a way to highlight the service that's available across the region.
Community Outreach Worker Paul Bardin says getting out to different towns across the region is important in an effort to engage with as many people as possible.
