Listen Back: Minister Lawless visits Cavan and Monaghan. The Minister for Further and Higher Education, James Lawless, is visiting Cavan and Monaghan ETB today. Indeed, meeting learners and staff at Cavan Institute, Monaghan Institute, and Cavan Youthreach.
Furthermore, hosting the visit, is Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Niamh Smyth, and Fianna Fáíl TD, Brendan Smith.
It highlighted Cavan and Monaghan ETB's vital role in delivering high-quality Further Education and Training opportunities across the region.
It also served as an opportunity for Minister Lawless to tour facilities and meet learners, staff and board members.
During the visit, Minister Lawless acknowledged the "excellent work" being done by Cavan and Monaghan ETB.
He said that Further Education and Training Centres are models of how strong communities, innovative teaching and targeted supports can create opportunities for every learner.
