Listen Back: New digital skills initiative launched in Monaghan

A new digital Literacy project has been unveiled by Monaghan County Library.

The TechKnow digital Literacy project has come about as a result of needs identified in the Adult Literacy For Life strategy.

The strategy states that 47% of adults lack basic digital skills and that 'the most marginalised in society have suffered the most from a move to an almost wholly online digital world'

Monaghan County Libraries in conjunction with Cavan Monaghan Education and training board are hosting weekly 1 to 1 Digital skills clinics in Libraries across County Monaghan.
