Local Fianna Fáil T.D for Cavan-Monaghan Niamh Smyth confirmed works are nearing completion at the new Respite Centre in Monaghan.
Deputy Smyth visited the site just outside Monaghan Town recently to meet with builders. The new respite centre located in UrbalKirk (approximately 8kms from Monaghan Town) is almost ready to go with a date for opening of the 1st of October still in sight.
Ronan Gargan was joined on this afternoons Wider View programme by the local TD to discuss this in further depth.
