Monaghan County Council has voted to leave the Local Property Tax rate for 2024 at the same price as it currently stands.
Councils each year vote on their rate, with each able to increase or decrease it by 15 per cent from the national base rate.
According to Cllr Paudge Connolly, the rate as it stands allows for the money to spent on local projects such as the popular Rossmore Park attraction
