The latest report compiled by Daft.ie into the current home rental market in Ireland, shows rents across the Northern Sound region have increased by 20% compared to the same period last year.
The new figures compiled by Trinity College economist Ronan Lyons for the property website, shows rents increased by 10.7% nationally, meaning tenants in Roscommon, Cavan, Leitrim, Longford and Monaghan are experiencing double the increase of those in other areas across the country.
