St Louis infant school in Monaghan Town has been recognised as a DCU Changemaker School, making it the only school in Co Monaghan to be recognised by the social innovation initiative.
This prestigious initiative helps primary school teachers and students across Ireland to put in place and lead programmes of change in their respective schools and wider communities to address societal changes.
It recognises schools like St Louis who are actively illustrating the changemaker values of creativity, empathy, teamwork and leadership.
