Local TD Matt Carthy says he feels extremely proud to have been appointed to Sinn Féin’s front bench today.
Deputy Carthy takes on the role of Agriculture, Food and the Marine Spokesman, shadowing Government Minister Barry Cowen.
Sinn Féin is now the main opposition party in the Dail after the appointment of the new Government at the weekend.
